Transitional Fashion Mini Lookbook 2020! Summer into Autumn Outfits!

I’m so excited for today’s blog post! I have been really trying to up my fashion and style game lately and over the past few weeks I’ve taken lots of outfit photos. After lots of pictures and throwing clothes everywhere whilst getting ready, I finally have a full lookbook for you! These are all outfits to inspire you for transitional weather which I usually call that awkward period where it’s both too hot and too cold at the same time. All of these can be adjusted for your own climate. For example, with a dress I would add tights and a jacket for colder days or go without for warmer days. I really hope you enjoy, so let’s go ahead and get into it.

This first look is a little more dressy and great for a colder night out or evening date! I’m wearing a simple black ribbed bodycon dress which keeps you cosy but it’s sleeveless so perfect if it warms up. I’ve paired it with an oversized check blazer and some simple black and gold accessories. This look is inspired by street style trends and I love the oversized blazer looks.

Dress: Forever 21, Blazer: Zara, Bag: Coach, Tights: Calvin Klein.

This next look is a classic, easy autumnal look. This is totally inspired by blogger Alex Centomo who you should definitely follow for some great outfit inspo! This look features a boho but slightly grunge style and I’m wearing some of my favourite items. This is a super easy look to recreate!

Top: River Island, Flannel Shirt: Urban Outfitters, Jeans: Hollister, Boots: Kurt Geiger.

This is another slightly more dressy look and is perfect for a date night! I love this dress and the boots combined and I think this would be great even on chiller nights because of the cosy elements. I actually got this dress on Depop which just proves you can find great items second hand.

Dress: Tularosa, Leather Jacket: Urban Outfitters, Boots: Amichi at TkMaxx Bag: Coach

I really hope that you enjoyed these looks and I’d love to hear about your favourite fall trends in the comments below! I’m so pleased with this lookbook and I hope to do some more in the future. Please let me know what you would like to see!

OOTD: Pumpkin Picking

Hey! Today I have an outfit post to share with you. I’m wearing some of my favourite clothing items here and they’re great for autumn weather. I will be linking any available items for you so feel free to check them out if you’re interested. No affiliate links I just love these items!

This was soooooo fun! I had a great time pumpkin picking at a local farm and on such a lovely day! I’m wearing a big fluffy faux fur jacket, in a classic black colour. This is perfect for days like this and I was actually super cosy! I’m also wearing a grey henley style longsleeve top and black jeans. Below are some details.

I’m also wearing this cute Ouija necklace from Wish and some basic Puma trainers. I’m also wearing the Soph x Makeup Revolution lipstick in Cake! (I love this one for autumn it’s PERFECT!)

OOTD: Spring Smart Casual

Back at it again with another outfit of the day! This outfit is a definite combination of some of my favourite clothing pieces! It’s also versatile because it’s warm without being too much and definitely has a smart/casual vibe. You could wear non-distressed jeans for a smarter look if that’s more your style. I was going out shopping but wanted to dress nicely and stay warm in the slightly chilly spring weather here in the UK!

Here are some pictures of the outfit! This belt is new and I think it really adds to the looks. I’d definitely recommend checking this tyle out, it’s from River Island. They have a range of cool colours but the sizing is terrible! Good luck finding one if you have particularly wide hips because they run very small.

Here are some pictures I took in this amazing vintage style furniture shop that had loads of cool mirrors. It was almost like a maze in there, and some really amazing rooms.

This is a great outfit for casual shopping and a coffee lunch, without being too formal or casual. I’m carrying my usual bag which is from Paul Costello, and it goes with everything as its a beautiful mauve grey shade.

COAT: DollsKill x HoneyPunch
JUMPER: Zara
JEANS: Hollister Super Skinny
BELT: River Island
BOOTS: River Island

OOTD: Start of Spring!

This outfit is cosy but still cute and a bit more summery! I got these photos on a day when it was really sunny, before the snow. This is chilled but sort of dressed up and  I was really happy with how it looked, and I thought it would be a great bit of fashion inspiration. Sometimes, it’s so hard to know what to wear in transitional weather, so hopefully, this inspires you. I’m a uni student and planned to wear this to uni but my train got cancelled sooooo I went shopping instead!

The lighting here was so pretty because it was so sunny this day! There was a bit of a breeze but this is a perfect outfit for this kind of day. You could always add a scarf or hat if you wanted to.

Here are some extra close-ups of the outfit! I’m in love with this top, and so need to wear it more. If you wanted to make this outfit, even more spring/summery then you could wear some blue ripped up jeans. I hope you enjoyed this post, please tag me in your outfit posts! I love fashion and I’m so happy to be doing more posts like this!
